Harcrest Community Park

An Accessible Birding Location in Butler County

Location:  Harcrest Community Park is located at 834 Three Degree Road in Butler County. The park has many features including a walking trail, disc golf course, and playground. The trail is mostly flat but there are areas where you can venture off the gravel path. In those places, you'll find grass trails and gentle hills.

Facilities:  There is a parking lot and restroom at the entrance to the park. It is unknown if the restrooms are open during wintertime.

The playground has an accessible playground area as well.

Likely Birds: The trail guides you along edge habitat where you'll likely find Song Sparrows, Woodpeckers, and Northern Mockingbirds.  Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and Eastern Meadowlark can also be found here in the Spring season.
