Birding is for Everyone.

The Butler Birders Club was founded in 2025 by Jennifer Winter Wren and is located in Butler, Pennsylvania.  There are really great and longstanding birding clubs in the Pittsburgh metro area but they don't tend to venture into Butler County very often. Butler County has some incredible habitat and many great places for birding! This club was formed to create community and introduce more people to the birding possibilities in Butler County, PA. 

The club hopes to make birding accessible for anyone who wants to bird. For that reason, each of our events includes a lot of information about the location including available facilities, path conditions, and the parking situation. Our mission is to provide an inclusive community where birders of all backgrounds and abilities can enjoy birding together.  We engage in conservation efforts in our community and support other organizations in our area that do the same.
